I do love this song. But I feel bad about loving this song. And extra bad about the fact that I know the unedited version by heart to the point that I can sing those lyrics over the radio edit ones that are on the video I’m posting.

However, it’s necessary that I deal with my guilt and post their video because of a conversation I recently had at school. This week, one of my students asked me if my vertigo was a result of “twerking too hard.”

I laughed, obviously, and said, “No, no. I don’t twerk. I never have, not even when I was in high school.”

To which they said: “Um, Miss. Of course you didn’t twerk in high school. Twerking is a new thing.”

I didn’t argue, because I’m a teacher. And I like having a job, so I just said, “Oh, maybe you’re right.”

So to prove them wrong, if only to myself and my blog readers, I give you this prime example of a song that not only talks about twerking, but also has twerking in the video.

Sorry. So, so sorry.
